A well established Manufacturing and Distribution Company in Seagoville, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join their team! Shift:
Mon-Fri 7am-3:
30pmPay:
$20-$25/hr
Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (or would be willing to learn this over time)Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts to specificationPerform tool changes and offsets to maintain quality and accuracyPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinesMonitor production to ensure quality and efficiencyPerform in-process inspections and document resultsEnsure compliance with safety and quality standardsCollaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and proceduresRequirements:
At least 1-2 years of CNC operating experience.
Particularly CNC Mill or Lathe experienceUnderstanding of basic M code and G code functionsStrong understanding of technical drawings and machining processesAbility to set up and operate CNC machinesKnowledge of proper speeds and feeds for various types of material from aluminum to steelIdentifying and selecting proper tooling for specific machining operationsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to perform in-process inspections and document resultsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesHigh School Diploma or GEDThe ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret technical drawings and have a strong understanding of the machining process.
